No one could have envisioned just how deep that swamp was. It was started as a statement to drain the corruption in our nations capitol and swept like a tsunami to the private sector taking down those you never would have suspected.
It started with Harvey Weinstein and progressed to Charlie Rose, Mark Halperin, Glenn Thrush, Billy Bash, Kevin Spacey, Garrison Keillor and more - many more. But the politicians who have been accused? Government protects the guilty in all of its corruptness. The private sector, after substantiating the claims fires their a$$es, but the government protects their own in the guise of the "Ethics Committee."
This committee puts the victim in counseling for 2 months, pays them off, and it's never heard from again. And the perp? Things are fine and they go on their merry way.
And television? Please tell me just what Kimmel was trying to do because his political statements aren't funny.
