The lesser of two weevils?

So today is election day.  In my 48 years of voting I've only missed once - and it was a primary and I was deathly ill.  These things happen.  I decided to not vote early as there were too many moving parts in this particular election.  You never could tell what great revelation would come forth at the last minute and be that total game changer.  No, I felt it much better to slog with the masses of angry and disenfranchised fellow citizens and cast that oh so important vote.

Early morning on the norm I was 4th or 5th voting.  And that wasn't a primary at my polling place.  Today I stood in line for 1 hour 20 minutes waiting to feed my ballot into the machine and read the reassuring message that my vote was counted.  Some countries give out purple fingers for voting.  I got a red sticker.  I wear it proudly.

Now all we have left is to wait for the fall-out of the 2016 election.  Neither candidate is stellar.  One will rule with total corruption.  The other with total disregard of the law unless he surrounds himself with a army of advisors - which in my humble opinion he should.

And so we wait.
