NBC and SyFy networks

I'm in school. Granted that it's the last class for my degree, but being in school for the past 5 years means utilizing the services of a DVR to record those shows that I like to watch. So record I do... And with school coming to an end I popped onto the DVR and found that all of this season of The Event recorded nicely. So, hands rubbing together I'm ready to begin watching with eager anticipation.

But wait, this was on NBC and I've been burned by them before - and SyFy which is owned by NBC (surprise!). But I digress. I pull up the iPad and check on the show and there it is, in bold letters, it's been cancelled, Crap! Not another one!

It all started with Surface - remember that show? Granted the acting wasn't the best, but the storyline was awesome and tantalizing. Then came Caprica. Then came Stargate Universe. And on and on it goes.

I fear that it's come down to a personal boycott of the network. I can't trust that a show I get involved in will last to it's conclusion! So after many dangling cliffhangers I am calling it quits. Good bye NBC. Good bye SyFy channel. I've better things to do with my time - like read a book where I know there will be a conclusion. Can't say I'm gonna miss you.
