8:43 and we are on the road. A huge storm blew through last night and brought with it a cold front. 40s today. No wool socks or boots, but definately sweatshirts. It was a race last night to see who could find their sneakers first. I lost. Pat won. John at least remembered his sneakers.
The amazing thing, now that we can see the countryside, is all of the green grasses. Makes it seem like late October rather than the last days of December. Folks are really friendly and they have grits for breakfast. We are getting south.
None of us can figure out what time zone we are in. Hotel is still set central. Guess we'll go with that. :)
