Mier's park on a hot Friday lunch hour. Burgers and chips were a buck donation to 2nd Harvest Food Shelf. Water and a goodie bag were free. WCCO had their noontime personality in the park taking calls on his talk show. The topic? Motorcycle helmets.

Mier's Park also has a creek running through it with a abundance of large rocks. It's the perfect place for a downtown worker to have a picnic and get some of the recycled air out of their system. Various fast food places and a small convenience store selling sandwiches and such are only a stree crossing away.
