We have started out. The landscape is white with snow and ice from the Christmas blizzard. Beautiful scenery, much backed up traffic.
We started out our journey in Mad City WI and ended up in Urbana IL our first night. The drive was very white. Most of the traffic was heading north while we were heading south.
After dinner we checked in to our hotel (Holiday Inn) and played Scrabble. Picked up a travel game to keep in Pat's car.
